Course aim
The purpose of the course is to provide in-depth knowledge of the atmosphere, air pollution and pollutants, air quality, and mitigation techniques.
Course content
The course will mainly address the following: Atmospheric composition, atmospheric pollution and pollutants, atmospheric dispersion, transport and deposition, effects on environment and health, air quality and emissions assessment, and control of emissions from motor vehicles and stationary sources, basic regulatory frameworks, and the role of air quality for sustainable development.
